This is going to be an unusual HTML tutorial because it is directly tied to a piece of HTML learning software HTML Help Toy (don't worry, it's free). If you haven't already downloaded it, do so now (download now)

As you may remember, the HTML Help Toy is my own HTML learning tool. Basically you type HTML in the left panel and the result is displayed in the right panel. In other words, instantaneous feedback which really helps for learning some of the more complex HTML concepts such as tables.

What you will do for the rest of the HTML Tutorial is to go through the list of HTML tags and concepts and actually try them out live as you go. Believe me, this will cause you to grok the basic idea of HTML in an extremely rapid manner. When you're a wealthy website tycoon, you can write me a check for the year I shaved off your learning curve. For now, however, let's just learn some HTML!
